Zamalek player Hazem Emam said that his club traveled to Algeria to win over MCA, to revive its hopes of qualifying for the quarter-finals of the African Champions League.

Hazem Imam spoke at the press conference held today, Friday, saying: “We have only two points in our balance and we want to win over Mouloudia because any other result means our bid farewell to the tournament.”

And he continued, “Our goal is to win and return the three points to Egypt. We controlled them in the first leg and created many opportunities to score goals, but we were not successful.”

“The match is difficult, but we were exposed to a similar situation in the Confederation, and we qualified and won it in the end,” he said.

Zamalek will be a guest at MCA on Saturday to meet him in the fifth round of the African Champions League for Group Four.

Zamalek is third in Group D, with two points, six points behind Mouloudia, who is in second place.

While Esperance qualified for the quarter-finals officially after collecting 10 points, which lead them to the group, while Senegalese Tunchez comes fourth with one point.
