Kasungu and Mustafa Mohamed joined Zamalek, before they set out to the Turkish stadiums, starting this year.
“The biggest advantage of Mustafa Muhammed is that he strikes the head,” Kasungu said via the Anatolia News Agency. “He is very precise with his headers.”
He added, “In Zamalek, I played with him as an offensive duo in some matches, and sometimes I played as a winger, and I went through many matches with him.”
He stressed, “Mustafa Mohamed is like my brother. We have played and achieved successes together. We have a wonderful relationship.”
He explained: “The schedule of our matches is very crowded since we came to Turkey, which is why we could not meet, but I think I will meet him soon.”
He continued: “Do I want to play with him again? It depends on God’s will, but now I will give everything I have to succeed with my team here, and what will come next in the knowledge of the unseen. But why not? I will love to play with Mustafa again in the future.”
Kasungu turned to talk about his experience in Polospor: “They welcomed me beautifully here at the club. I felt so happy to receive this attention, and when I came here I was not very ready and I needed some time to get used to the team and get back in shape.”
“I love my country very much. I played for the last time against Congo Brazzaville and scored a goal one day, then I faced some difficulties, but everything is fine now. I just need more work to regain my old form. My level, I will undoubtedly receive a call-up for the national team. ”
Kasungu, 26, played in Zamalek between 2017 and 2020, a period that saw him coming out on loan to Al-Wahda Saudi Arabia and Moroccos Wydad Casablanca.
Kasongo scored 22 goals with Zamalek in 74 games, won five championships with him, and won with him the title of the African Champions League.
Kasongo has scored 4 goals in his last 4 matches with his current team, Polospor.
Polospor is ranked 12th in the Turkish Second Division League with 32 points.
Kasungu has only played two international matches with the DRC, the last of which was against Congo Brazzaville in November 2018.
