FilGoal | News | Onda Siro: Odegaard is the keyword in Haaland’s move to Real Madrid

The Norwegian Erling Haaland, Borussia Dortmund’s top scorer, may prefer to move to Real Madrid because Martin Odegaard is in the ranks of the royal team.

According to Spanish radio “Onda Siro”, Haaland wants to play alongside his fellow Real Madrid, loaned to Arsenal.

Haaland wants to secure guarantees that Odegaard will be part of Zinedine Zidane’s plans for next season.

Mino Raiola and Alf Inge Haaland, the player’s father, met with Barcelona officials last Thursday, before meeting with Real Madrid officials to hear the offers made by the two clubs about the player.

Haaland played 31 games this season and scored 33 goals for Dortmund.

As for Odegaard, he was loaned to Arsenal last January after not regularly appearing with Real Madrid.

Odegaard played just 9 games for Real Madrid before being loaned to Arsenal.

With Arsenal, Odegaard played 12 games and scored two goals.
