Abdel Nasser Almas, president of MCA, said that his club wanted to beat Zamalek in the upcoming match between them to avoid calculations and ensure qualification for the quarter-finals of the African Champions League.

Abdel Nasser Almas spoke to “MBC Egypt”, saying: “We hope for a good confrontation and that it will allow us to confirm our superiority and qualify for the quarter-finals.”

He continued, “a difficult match for the two teams, because this is Zamalek’s last chance to revive its hopes of qualifying for the next round.”

He concluded, “But as for our conversation with the players, we asked them to win the match to avoid calculations and ensure that we qualify for the quarter-finals.”

Zamalek will be a guest at MCA on Saturday to meet him in the fifth round of the African Champions League for Group Four.

Zamalek is third in Group D, with two points, six points behind Mouloudia, who is in second place.

While Esperance qualified for the quarter-finals officially after collecting 10 points, which lead them to the group, while Senegalese Tunchez comes fourth with one point.
