France said that individuals who received the first dose of AstraZeneca and who are under the age of 55 should receive a second dose of an mRNA-based vaccine, such as Pfizer or Moderna.

The Haute Autorite de la Sante, the highest health authority in France, said that in such a case, there should be a 12-week interval between the two doses.

The center recommended that a study be conducted to evaluate the immune responses provided by these combination vaccine prescriptions.

It is reported that the two vaccines, “Pfizer” or “Moderna”, have obtained permission for use in France.

And the European Medicines Agency announced this week that it had found a “possible link” between the “AstraZeneca” vaccine and rare blood clots, although the regulatory bodies in the United Kingdom and the European Union confirmed that the benefits of receiving the vaccine still outweigh the benefits of the vaccine for most people.
