Gold prices in the local market continued to rise during trading today, Thursday, the third day of Ramadan, and the gram increased 3 pounds, compared to its level in the morning.

Gold prices in the local market rose slightly at the beginning of today’s trading, and the gram increased by one pound; The total increase is 4 pounds per gram, compared to yesterday.

Naguib Club, former general secretary of the gold division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy that the price of a gram of 21 carat gold rose today to 765 pounds, compared to 762 pounds, in morning dealings.

The price of a gram of 18-carat gold is about 656 pounds, the price of a 24-carat gram is about 874 pounds, and the price of a pound of gold is 6120 pounds.

Globally, gold prices rose by 1.6% compared to the close of yesterday’s trading session; The price of an ounce was $ 1763.56 at 4:23 pm Cairo time, according to Bloomberg.
