His former coach: My honorary mistakes as a result of not participating with Al-Ahly

Tariq Suleiman, the former Al-Ahly goalkeeper coach, justified the mistake of Cherif Ikrami, the Pyramids goalkeeper, during the Moroccan Raja Casablanca match.

Suleiman said in statements on the “Echo of the Country” screen: “These errors are a result of his failure to participate with Al-Ahly in the last two seasons, mainly due to the defense of Muhammad Al-Shennawi.”

He continued: “Sherif Ikrami was essential in Al-Ahly and was able to win the CAF Champions League title on five previous occasions. This mistake was not for the first time but was repeated, for example in the 2012 final in the first-leg match against Esperance, and we were attacked by the fans, but the player was the hero of the second leg.” .

And he continued: “Sherif suffered this ordeal a lot, but he must strengthen and with him a goalkeeper coach who can help him to get out of this ordeal.”

Tariq Suleiman criticized Ikrami’s behavior in the first goal of Raja, saying: “My honor is hastening to act with the ball, which led to the ball entering his own goal, to see Muhammad Al-Shennawi with Al-Ahly, the player has wonderful stability with the ball.

Cherif Ikrami was wrong in terms of acting with the ball in the match of his Pyramids team against Raja Casablanca, which caused a goal in favor of the Moroccan team.

Pyramids suffered two unanswered losses from Raja in the third round of the African Confederation (CAF) competitions, which led to the Egyptian champion stopping at six points in second place, three points behind the champion of Morocco, the group leader.
