They are prohibited from fasting today and tomorrow
Strict warnings issued by the Meteorological Authority, regarding the wave of hot weather that hits Egypt during Sunday and Monday, as the temperature on Sunday reaches 41 degrees Celsius.
Many feel fatigue, headaches and the inability to perform their daily tasks efficiently, especially since there are some groups who are more susceptible to stress and many complications.
Dr. Magdy Badran, a member of the Egyptian Society of Allergy and Immunology, told “Al-Watan” that there are many groups that must not go out today and tomorrow, and they have a license to break the fast and not fast, according to their medical condition.
16 groups prevented from fasting because of the heat
People with liver disease.
People with severe mental illness.
People with heart disease.
People with diabetes.
People with cancer.
Persons with satisfactory thinness.
Those with immunodeficiency.
People with a fever lose a lot of sweat.
Those with diarrhea, vomiting, or dehydration need fluids in abundance.
People with asthma who need oral treatment should not fast.
People with severe anemia need to fix the anemia before fasting.
– People with congenital defects affecting the heart functionally or cardiac rheumatism are prevented from fasting.
People with epilepsy and convulsions and in need of anti-seizures.
People with special needs who need frequent feeding.
Tips to prevent overheating while fasting
Avoid going out of the house except for the most urgent need, especially the elderly and children, people with chronic diseases, especially asthma and low immunity, pregnant women, people with corona and any fever.
– Fasting people should drink more water and fluids during the period between Iftar and Suhoor, and not forget the salad, fruit and vegetable soup.
– Good ventilation, opening windows, balconies, and room doors, using fans or using air conditioners at a temperature of 24 degrees Celsius because it is ideal.
Reducing clothing, and wearing loose-fitting cotton clothes that do not stick to the skin.
Shower one or more times a day.
Wipe the floors several times.
Avoid direct exposure to sunlight.
Avoid ready-made juices, sweetened and fizzy drinks.
Avoid eating chips, crackers, canned food, tarshi, mates, luncheon and pastrami.
