Actress Nessma Mahjoub confirmed that her participation in the ceremony of transferring royal mummies was very difficult, and that she tried to bring out her best during the big event, noting that the arrangement for the ceremony in general began a year ago, and the musical arrangements began in the last month.

“Mahjoub” added, during a telephone interview with the “Cairo Hadith” program, on the “Cairo and the People” screen, that the sense of singing in the mummies party differs from other concerts, stressing that there was anxiety and dread from this concert, as it required a great arrangement of singing with Photography during the Mummies’ Journey.

And she continued, “I was dazzled, shaken and elated by the event,” pointing out that the design of her dress was Egyptian, stressing that she had lived moments of dazzling with singing and melodies for work.

And on Saturday evening, 22 royal mummies began on a journey the world awaits from the current place of their display in the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir to the place of their permanent display in the Museum of Civilization in Fustat in ancient Egypt.

The origins of the royal mummies go back to the dynastic ages (17, 18, 19, 20), and the procession includes 18 mummies for kings and 4 mummies for queens.

The royal mummies procession was accompanied by ceremonial appearances and the opening of the main hall and the mummies hall of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization.
