Schalke players were attacked by some of the club’s fans after they were relegated from the German Bundesliga after losing to hosts Armenia Belfield 1-0 on Tuesday.
Social media pioneers shared a video of the moment when angry fans greeted their team bus, which will be absent for the first time from the “Bundesliga” since 1991.
As soon as the Schalke players got off the bus the moment they arrived at the club headquarters, angry fans crossed the fence and chased the players, threw eggs at them and insulted them, and several reports mentioned that a number of players were kicked.
Schalke’s players, including Sead Kolasinac & Shkodran Mustafi, had to flee from an angry mob of fans last night after their 1-0 loss away to Arminia Bielefeld which confirmed their relegation to the 2.Bundesliga. 💀☠️

Schalke 04 published an official statement on its official website denouncing what some of the team’s fans had done.
