Inter Milan continued its brilliant start in the Italian football league this season and the team approached a new step for the championship title by winning a precious 1 / zero at its host Bologna today, Saturday, in the 29th stage of the competition.
Inter settled the match today with a clean goal scored by Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku in the 31st minute.
Inter won the ninth in a row in the competition to consolidate its lead in the tournament table by raising its score to 68 points, eight points ahead of its neighbor and direct rival Milan, after Milan fell in a 1/1 draw with Sampdoria earlier today in the same stage.
Inter will remain with a postponed match with Sassuolo, which he will play next Wednesday, and through which he can expand the gap further with Milan.
And Bologna stuck at 34 points in eleventh place.
