The events of the match that gathered on Sunday, Pyramids, in front of its Moroccan counterpart Raja, at the “Mohammed V” stadium, ended with the latter’s victory with a clean double, in the group stage matches of the African Confederation Cup.
Mido said during a television interview that the resignation has nothing to do with the loss to Moroccan Raja, it is an ineffective defeat, because Raja and Pyramids will qualify.
He explained that the conflict of ideas with the administration is the first reason for his resignation, pointing out that “to impose his ideas somewhere, he must have effective power and executive power, but his position does not allow him to do so.”
A crisis erupted between Mido and Ahmed Fathi, the team’s player, before the mission traveled to Morocco, according to sources in the Egyptian club, where some circulated news about the club’s management’s desire to dispense with the player, nicknamed “the Joker”, due to the lack of conviction of the technical director Aruabarina of his capabilities. Which Pyramids denied altogether.
