Nabih praises Ashour’s commitment and affirms: He will return in due time

Zamalek general coach Osama Nabih praised the position of Imam Ashour, the team’s player, by attending the team’s match against Senegalese Tongit in the African Champions League to support his colleagues.

Zamalek hosted its Senegalese counterpart, Tiongate, in the sixth and final round of the group stage of the Champions League, and the white team managed to win 4-1, but failed to qualify for the quarter-finals after MCA drew with Tunisias Esperance.

During statements to the media center, Nabih said: Ashour has shown full commitment in the last period to the administrative decision that the technical staff took towards him.

He added, “The imposition of discipline is one of the most important foundations that the coaching staff in general sets within the team.”

The general coach of Zamalek explained that there is an evaluation of what Imam Ashour offers in compliance with the decision of the technical staff, and that the coming period will witness his return to the team at the appropriate time.

It is worth noting that Patrice Carteron, the coach of Zamalek, had made a decision to fine Ashour for his behavior, in addition to his training with the youth for an indefinite period.
