Ayman Al-Sayed Salem, a professor and head of the chest department at Qasr Al-Aini, revealed that no new or strange symptoms of the emerging corona virus (Covid-19) were noticed, as it entered the third wave in Egypt, adding that the cases of infection and death began to spread again, so it was necessary. Salem said, in a press statement, that according to the World Health Organization, the most common symptoms are fever, dry cough and fatigue, and the less common symptoms are pain and aches, sore throat, and headache, in addition to a loss of the sense of taste or smell, a rash, or a change in color. Fingers or toes.
He added: “The dangerous symptoms are difficulty or shortness of breath, pain or pressure in the chest, and immediate medical attention must be given to those who suffer from these symptoms and to communicate immediately with the doctor or hospitals before heading to them.”
He pointed out that the average appearance of symptoms ranges between 5 and 6 days after infection with the virus, and it may take up to 14 days.
