The Disciplinary Committee of the Football Association settled on the decisions regarding the crisis of the youth team’s withdrawal from the North African qualifiers for the U-20 Nations Cup due to the spread of the Corona virus among the players.

A source in the Disciplinary Committee said that the sanctions were handed over to the Football Association and will be announced in the coming hours, as follows:

– Rabie Yassin, the former coach of the youth team, was prevented from practicing any football-related activity for a period of 6 months and a fine of 200,000 pounds.

Dr. Walid Manzoor, the former national team doctor, was banned from practicing any football-related activity for a period of 3 months and he was fined 100,000 pounds.

And withdrew Youth national team Born in 2001 from the African Nations Youth Qualifiers in Tunisia, due to the outbreak of Corona virus among the players .

The head of the tripartite committee of the Football Association confirmed that the youth team, led by Rabie Yassin, has ended its work since December 20 after leaving the African qualifiers, indicating that the dues have been temporarily frozen until the end of the disciplinary committee investigations due to an outbreak of Corona virus infections in the national team.
