Pyramids suffered their first defeat during the African Confederation Championship this season, at the hands of Moroccan Raja.
Pyramids lost, by a clean double, to their Moroccan counterpart Raja, in the third round of the group stage of the African Confederation.
This is the first defeat for Pyramids in the history of his participation in the Confederation Championship “away from home”, as the Egyptian team did not know a loss away from home for 10 consecutive matches.
Pyramids did not know a defeat away from home in the matches he played in the Confederation Championship competitions throughout his history, before he was defeated by Raja.
This is the fourth defeat for Pyramids in the history of his participation in the tournament, as he lost 3 games at home to Enugu Rangers, Zanaco, and Rising Berkane in the final that was held in Morocco last season, but the stadium was considered a neutral ground in addition to the Pyramids was considered the owner Earth in the final game.
