Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos, announced that he had suffered a muscle injury, after his absence from the group training of the “Merengue” Thursday morning, after his participation with his country against Kosovo (3-1).
Ramos published a statement on his official page on the “Instagram” site, in which he said: “I went through a very difficult few weeks, and fortunately I was feeling better for a few days, but in football like life bad luck plays a role as well.”
He added, “Yesterday after the match, I trained on the field, noticing an injury, and I took a test today, and I was sure of my muscle injury.”
He continued: “If there is one thing that hurts me, it is the inability to help the team in these most important matches, and I can do nothing but speak frankly, work hard and encourage the team with the spirit.”
Ramos remained in the gym and performed special training, after participating in his country’s match against its guest Kosovo (3-1) on Wednesday, as part of the third round of the European qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, which raised doubts about renewed Hit him.
Real Madrid issued an official statement on its website: “After the tests carried out today of the leader Sergio Ramos, he was diagnosed with the injury in the inner calf of the left foot, and is awaiting developments.”
Press reports indicated that it was confirmed that Ramos was absent for a month, which means that he did not participate in the “El Clasico” match against Barcelona on the tenth of this month, and the two matches between Liverpool, in the quarter-finals of the European Champions League.
