French Paris Saint-Germain won a precious 3-2 victory over Bayern Munich in the match that brought them together on Wednesday, as part of the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
The Parisian team surprised its host with two successive goals by Kylian Mbappe and the Brazilian Marquinus in minutes 3 and 28 respectively, before the Bavarian team rose up and equalized by scoring two goals signed by Eric Motting and Thomas Muller in the 37th and 60th minutes, respectively.
Mbappe returned and scored the second personal goal for him and the third for his team in the 68th minute of the match.

Paris Saint-Germain avenged its loss in the Champions League final last season against Bayern, who won the prestigious continental competition.
With this victory away from home, Saint-Germain put a foot in the semi-finals, awaiting the conclusion of the second leg match next week at the “Princes Garden”, the stronghold of the Parisian team.

This is Bayern’s first defeat in the Champions League in more than two years, specifically since March 13, 2019, when it lost to Liverpool 3-1 in the second leg of the 16th round, after which the Bavarian team played 19 games in the continental competition (winning 18 matches and tied on one occasion).
