The Cadiz and Valencia match in the Spanish League was suspended due to racism


The match between Cadiz and its home team, Valencia, was stopped after 30 minutes after its start, due to the directing of the host team’s player, Juan Cala, racist statements towards Mukhtar Diajabi, the bat defender, and the result indicated a positive 1-1 draw, which they gathered at the “Ramon de Carranza” stadium, within The 29th round of the Spanish League, “La Liga”.

The Valencia squad left the match stadium in the 30th minute of the match, after defender Mokhtar Diakaby received racist statements from Kala Kadesh, and the bats team refused to return to the pitch so far.

The Valencia players showed solidarity with the defender of the black-skinned team, and withdrew from the pitch after the Qadis player directed racist phrases against him.

Juan Kalla had advanced to Cadiz in the 14th minute of the match, before veteran French striker Kevin Gameiro equalized for the bat team in the 19th minute.

The Valencia team ranks twelfth in the Spanish league table with 33 points, while Cadiz is fifteenth with 29 points, and Atletico Madrid is top with 66 points.

The matches of the 29th round of La Liga will be completed by a strong meeting between Seville and its guest Atletico Madrid at nine oclock this evening, Sunday, at the “Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan” stadium.
