The lawsuit stated that the artist, Mohamed Ramadan, took advantage of his client’s image to promote himself by publishing a video clip for a new song for him, which he called “You Are Not Looking At The Airport”, using the image of Captain Pilot Ashraf Abu Al-Yusr in a spectacle in piloting the plane, which led to severe financial and moral damage to him..

It is reported that one of the lawyers filed a complaint with the Attorney General, Counselor, Hamada Al-Sawy, against the artist Muhammad Ramadan, and the pilot Ashraf Abu Al-Yusr, the “captain” of the Smart Aviation Company, to refer them for investigation..

The report, which is registered with No. 8847 of 2020, the petitions of the Attorney General, accused the artist of conducting behavior that would harm the means of communication or control designated for air navigation, which endangered the safety of aviation, and flew an aircraft without obtaining licenses or the qualifications prescribed for that, and practiced an activity of civil aviation before Obtaining a license from the Minister of Civil Aviation.

He carried out an act of civil aviation without obtaining a permit, and damaged the country’s reputation abroad by showing the Egyptian state the image of a country that underestimates its aircraft passengers, which harmed the reputation of Egyptian civil aviation, and made the airlines and ICAO put Egypt at the lowest safety rating for civil aviation, which is What affects the reputation of civil aviation and the economy of the Egyptian state.

The report accused the pilot of the plane of participating with the first accused, by means of incitement and assistance, by facilitating for him to carry out the above-mentioned crimes in violation of his duties, in violation of the provisions of Articles 169, 172 and 173 of the Civil Aviation Law No. 28 of 1981 amended by Law No. 136 of 2010.

The Civil Aviation Authority imposed a penalty on pilot Ashraf Abu Al-Yusr to withdraw his license for life for violating safety standards while flying, in addition to revoking his assistant’s license for a year..
