Ahmed Fathy, the star of the first football team at Pyramids Club, appeared in a video clip on Ontime Sports, to respond to news of a crisis between him and the coaching staff and his club officials.
Fathi said in the video: “It is normal for any player who does not participate in the games to be angry, but I participated in 4 matches after recovering from injury.”
He added, “I spoke with the coach, Aruabarina, in a discussion about not participating in some matches, but without creating a crisis.”
He continued: “Talking about a crisis that concerns me in Pyramids is baseless.”
And he continued, “We aspire to win against Moroccos Raja next Sunday in the Confederation, and we will face a strong team of course that has a great reputation on the African level.”
He ended his remarks: “Congratulations to the Egyptian team qualifying for the nations of Africa. I hope that our team, led by Hossam El-Badry, will reach the World Cup finals.”
