Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, held a meeting yesterday evening; To review the features of the promotional campaign for housing projects that are being implemented within the presidential initiative to develop the capitals of the governorates and major cities, in the presence of Engineer Randa Al-Minshawi, First Assistant to the Prime Minister, Hassan Ghanem, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Housing and Development Bank, and Engineer Amin Serraj, Managing Director of Hyde Park Real Estate .

At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister affirmed that the initiative of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to develop provincial capitals and major cities, aims to provide decent housing for all groups, as well as provide more job opportunities for the youth of the governorates, while developing the living environment for the residents of those areas.

He added that the project to develop the capitals of the governorates and major cities includes the construction of about 500 thousand new housing units at the governorate level, of which 125 thousand are in the first phase of implementing the initiative, and that the available space lands were counted, in coordination with the concerned authorities and the governorates, indicating at the same time However, it was agreed on a method of partnership with some of the authorities that have jurisdiction over the lands within these cities, including the Ministries of Business and Endowments.

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly added that the aim of the promotional campaign for the initiative is to familiarize the Egyptian people with the initiative and highlight its importance, and the nature of the housing units offered through it. During the meeting, the proposal for the financing system for the units and the criteria for obtaining them were reviewed.
