Ahmed Fouad Khalil added: “My father spent 10 years in the Faculty of Medicine instead of 7 because he was preoccupied with art and trying to join the Institute of Acting, and during his studies he joined the university theater groups, and in his early days he claimed that he had a kinship with the artist Shadia, who knew his mother, but they were not relatives.”

His son Ahmed said that it is not true that the artists did not visit his father during his illness, stressing that many of them visited him at the beginning of his illness, including the leader Adel Imam, the artists Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Raja Al-Jeddawi, Hani Shaker, Majid Al-Masry, Waheed Seif and others, and these visits gradually decreased until his death, and Ahmed attended his funeral.
