Bwalia did not complete the second half of the division, as he left the stadium and underwent a medical examination under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abu Abla, the team doctor.
Bwalia underwent a physiotherapy and recovery session to alleviate the pain of the bruise he suffered on the foot.
On the other hand, Betso Musimani, Al-Ahly coach, was keen to make more than one strong division between the players, as part of the group training sessions that took place this afternoon, Wednesday, at the touch stadium on the island, in preparation for the Simba Tanzanian match on Friday.
During the first division, Musimani divided the players into four teams, competing in defense and attack on the pitch, through the implementation of some tactical and offensive sentences.
Musimani ended the training sessions with another strong division between two teams along the stadium that lasted for a quarter of an hour, during which the coach focused on directing specific instructions to the midfield and attacking players in the two teams.
Al-Ahly will meet Simba at 9 pm on Friday at the “Al-Ahly We Peace” stadium, as part of the final round of the group stage of the African Champions League.
Al-Ahly formally qualified for the quarter-finals in the Champions League after tying with Al-Merrikh with two goals for each team, in the confrontation that took place at the Blue Jawhara Stadium in Sudan in the fifth round of the group stage.
The technical meeting for the first-team football match at Al-Ahly club in front of Simba, Tanzania, scheduled for April 9, will be held at the second at noon tomorrow, Thursday, at the club’s headquarters on the island, in the presence of the club’s administrative staff.
The meeting will witness agreement on all the details related to the meeting, the uniforms of the two teams, the date of their arrival at the match stadium and all other organizational matters, in the presence of the administrative apparatus of the two teams, the refereeing staff and those responsible for the organizational side of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Al-Ahly will meet Simba at 9 pm next Friday at Al-Ahly Stadium and We Al-Salam, in the final round of the group stage of the African Champions League.
