West Ham United advanced to fourth place in the Premier League table by defeating their host Wolverhampton 3/2 on Monday in the 30th stage.
And at Moulinho Stadium, the three goals for West Ham came in the first half and were signed by Jesse Lingard, Pablo Fornals and Jarrod Bowen in the sixth, 14 and 38 minutes.
Leander Dendunker and Fabio Silva hit back with two goals by Wolverhampton in the 44th and 68th minutes.
West Ham raised its score to 52 points in fourth place, one point behind fifth-placed Chelsea and three points ahead of Tottenham and Liverpool.
Wolverhampton’s balance stopped at 35 points in the fourteenth place.
Manchester City tops the table with 74 points, 14 points behind runner-up Manchester United, and Leicester City is third with 56 points.
