Imad Abdel Aziz, head of the committee in charge of managing the Zamalek club, stated that the committee will be present at the team’s training tomorrow, Monday, at the Abdullatif Abu Rujaila Stadium, and he denied the validity of the reports about the existence of administrative changes in the club.
The team will resume training tomorrow, Monday, after receiving a negative rest today, after returning from Algeria.
The official Zamalek website stated that the committee in charge of managing Zamalek affairs decided to attend the Al-Ghad training session with the aim of supporting the team during the coming period with the conclusion of the group stage in the Champions League, and preparing for the resumption of local activity.
Zamalek beat its host MC Algiers in their own home with two goals without a response on Saturday night, in the fifth round of the group stage of the African Champions League.
The club president stressed that the committee is keen to support the team in its first session after the return, in preparation for the Senegalese twinjet at the conclusion of the group stage, in order to motivate the players to adhere to the hope of qualifying for the quarter-finals of the tournament.
Imad Abdel Aziz emphasized that there is no truth to what is reported about administrative changes in the club and that the committee is carrying out its work normally.
