3 Al-Ahly players are threatened to miss the match

Al-Ahly club is threatening to lose the efforts of 3 of its players in the next summit match against its traditional rivals Zamalek, scheduled for May 10, in the twenty-first round of the Egyptian Premier League 2020-2021.

Al-Ahly is preparing to meet Al-Ittihad Al-Alexandria next Thursday, in the twentieth round of the Premier League championship.

Three of Al-Ahly’s players (Mohamed Hani, Ayman Ashraf and Ahmed Nabil Kouka) have two yellow cards, and if any of them get a new yellow card in the team’s next match against Al-Ittihad, they will miss the summit match against Zamalek.

Al-Ahly lost to Ghazl El-Mahalla 1-0 in the match that brought them together yesterday, Monday, in the nineteenth round of the Egyptian Premier League championship.

On the other hand, Al-Ahly club requested the recruitment of foreign referees for all the team’s matches in the Premier League championship, due to the arbitration errors that the team is exposed to, but the Football Association officials refused and adhered to relying on the Egyptian referees.

Al-Ahly team ranks second in the Egyptian league table with a score of 37 points, behind Zamalek team, the championship leader with 41 points.
