5 goals and 4 dismissals … a “violent crisis” in Lyon’s blocking of Monaco

Lyon obstructed Monacos start in the French Football League and snatched a precious and late 3/2 victory at home on Sunday in the 35th stage of the competition, reducing the difference with him to one point in their struggle for third place.

Lyon overcame the numerical deficiency in its ranks and overturned its delay with a clean goal to a precious 3/2 victory over Monaco, to raise its score to 70 points in fourth place, one point behind Monaco.

Monaco ended the first half in favor of him with a goal scored by Kevin Folland in the 25th minute, and Lyon responded with two goals in the second half, scored by Memphis Depay and Marcelo in the 57th and 77th minutes, despite Maxense’s dismissal in the 70th minute for receiving the second warning in the match.

Wissam Ben Yedder grabbed Monaco from a penalty kick in the 86th minute, before Ryan Sharqi scored the winning goal for Lyon in the 89th minute.

After the end of the match, an altercation erupted between the players of the two teams, as a result of which the referee had to announce three red cards, including two for William Goebbels and Pietro Pellegri for Monaco players, and Mattia de Sciglio for Lyon.
