Abdullah Al-Saeed, Ahmed Al-Sheikh and Roland, Pyramids players, were infected with the Corona virus


The initial result of the medical smear that the Pyramids first football team underwent, the technical and administrative staff and all those who traveled with the mission to Nigeria to face Enyimba in the African Confederation, showed the emergence of several cases of infection with the Corona virus.

The samples were positive for Abdullah Al-Saeed, Diego Roland, Ahmed Al-Sheikh and Wad Al-Jabbas, the team’s players, Khaled Abdullah, the goalkeeper coach, Amr Bassiouni, the contracting manager, Khaled Sarhan, the Argentine translator Rodolfo Aruabarina, and the team’s photographer, which sparked panic within the team’s ranks after the virus spread between everybody.

The Pyramids mission returned from Nigeria at dawn on Monday, after winning the qualification for the semi-finals of the Confederation by defeating Enyimba in the first leg and a positive tie with a goal for each of them in the return, to hit Pyramids a date with Moroccan Raja in the semi-finals.

Pyramids are currently preparing to face Ismaily in the league competition, which is scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday.

The Competitions Department of the Football Association decided to amend the date of the Pyramids and Ismaili match in the 25th round of the Premier League, and the Competitions Department notified the Pyramids Club to amend the match date to be at nine in the evening instead of at seven at the Air Defense Stadium.
