The Appeals Committee of the Egyptian Football Association held a meeting in the presence of Counselor Adel El-Shorbagy, Chairman of the Committee, Counselor Ibrahim Abdel-Khaleq and Adviser Mohamed Abaza, during which several important decisions were taken.
The committee supported the decision of deducting three points from the Ismaili in the event that the ruling of the International Sports Court in favor of the Nujoom Club was not implemented within 30 days from the date of February 23, 2021, and the committee decided to accept the Ismaili’s grievance in this matter in form and rejected it as a matter.
* A crisis occurred between the Ismaili clubs and Al-Nujoom over Ibrahim Hassan, the current Pyramids player and the former Dervish.
Ibrahim Hassan wore the Al-Nujoom shirt years ago, after which he moved to Ismaili in 2013, before moving to Zamalek in 2018 and from there to Pyramids.
Mohamed Al Tawila, chairman of Al-Nujoom Club, had previously demanded that Ismaili pay 20 million pounds for Al-Nujoom, who is currently playing in the Second Division League.
The committee also decided to issue its decision in the grievance submitted by Rabei Yassin, the current Petrojet coach and the former Egyptian youth team, against the decision to suspend it for 6 months during its next meeting.
* The Football Association had decided to suspend Rabie Yassin for 6 months after the investigations conducted regarding the team’s participation in the African qualifying tournament for the African finals, which was held in Tunisia.
While the committee reviewed the grievance submitted by the Zamalek club in the matter of the players: Ahmed Eid, Saif Farouk, Omar Yasser, Yahya Moftah and Saif El Din Sayed, as well as the grievance submitted by the Al-Ahly Club and all the papers and attachments related to the subject, the committee decided to accept the grievances in form, rejecting them as a matter, and supporting the appealed decision.
* The Football Association had transmitted a widespread video clip of Zamalek players, born in 99, who insulted the symbols of Al-Ahly, and Saleh Selim, the former president of Al-Ahly, Hassan Hamdy and Ahmed Schubert, came on top of them.
