French coach Patrice Carteron, the coach of Zamalek, is heading to push goalkeeper Mohamed Awad to form the team during the next match against Pyramids.
Zamalek is preparing to meet the Pyramids on Sunday evening, in the 19th round of the Premier League competition.
In his statements, Laila Koura, the source said that Awad is close to participating in the upcoming match between Zamalek and Pyramids.
The source indicated that Carteron’s expected decision comes due to the continued absence of Mohamed Abu Jabal, the team goalkeeper, from the match due to his recent infection with the emerging corona virus (Covid-19), in addition to the suffering of Mahmoud Abdel Rahim “Jensh” from back pain.
“Jensh” recently participated in the 2-2 draw of Zamalek and the Arab Contractors in the 18th round match of the Premier League competition, and Ahmed Nader Al-Sayed was present with him on the bench.
The last period had witnessed a long absence of Muhammad Awad from participating with Zamalek, in addition to Carteron’s decision to exclude him from the list of the recent Arab Contractors match for not adhering to the instructions.
Osama Nabih, the general coach, announced the end of the technical staff’s decision towards Mohamed Awad, and said that the technical staff decided to participate in the training sessions after he complied with the agency’s decision to participate in the match between Al-Amal team against Z.
Mohamed Awwad did additional training, especially after the end of the group training, under the supervision of Arto Oliveira, the team’s goalkeeper coach, on Friday, according to the official website of the White Castle.
