Press reports revealed that Doha will host the African Super match between Al-Ahly and Nahdet Berkane of Morocco.
According to the Qatari newspaper, Al-Watan, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has designated the Jassim bin Hamad stadium for the Al-Sadd Club in the Qatari capital, Doha, to host the African Super Cup.
The two teams are scheduled to undergo a medical bubble on May 25, with a Corona swab performed 48 hours before the match.
Al-Ahly will play the Super Cup as the winner of the African Champions League, while Nahdet Al-Borkan is playing the game as the Confederation champion.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) decided last December to establish the African Super Cup in the State of Qatar, instead of Egypt, after arriving with the Qatari side on the level of agreement on organizing the match.
Zamalek was crowned the last edition of the Super Championship after defeating Tunisias Esperance 3-1 in Qatar.
