The Confederation of African Football has issued an official letter that will be directed to the national associations regarding the deadline for determining the teams participating in the CAF Club Championship.

According to this letter, which Yalla Koura received a copy of, KAF set the 30th of next June as a deadline for the national federations to send the teams that will participate in the Champions League and Confederation and not after that, according to the description of the speech.

The letter stressed that the registration periods for CAF club tournaments will be on July 10, with the second period being from 11 to 20 July, with a fine of $ 250 per player, and the third period will be from July 21 to 31, with a fine of $ 500 for each player with participation from the second round. .

The letter confirmed that with regard to the national associations that ended the season, the teams will qualify according to the known criteria.

As for the federations that did not complete the local championship due to Corona, but there is an agreement on the teams that will participate in the club championships, these teams will qualify according to the criteria known to this country.

As for the federations that canceled the season completely without any arrangement, the teams that qualified for last season will qualify.

As for the federations that have not finished the competitions, the local association must choose one of the three previous scenarios to determine the teams that will participate in the CAF championships.

Enough speech confirmed that, starting from the quarter-finals of the Champions League, the number of substitutes for the Champions League and Confederation matches will be increased from 7 to 9 due to the Corona pandemic, while awaiting approval from the FIFA Council.

A source in the Egyptian Football Association said that no speech has yet been received in this regard, but it is expected that it will arrive in the coming period.

The Egyptian Premier League is scheduled to end at the end of next September, according to the match schedule announced by the Egyptian Football Association last week.
