The Esperance team won the Tunisian League after winning the Tunisian stadium 1-0 during the match that brought them together today, Saturday, in a postponed match from the twenty-second round of the league competition.
Esperance owes this victory to Abdelkader Badran, who scored the game’s only goal in the 56th minute.
Esperance raised its score to 59 points at the top of the standings from 23 games it fought, 13 points ahead of ES Sahel, who is second-placed, who played only 22 games, to officially crown Esperance the title.
On the other hand, the Stade Tunisien scored 26 points in eleventh place.
This is the 31st title in the history of Esperance, and it is the fifth in a row.
