The coronavirus pandemic is going through a horrific phase in India, with more than 300,000 cases recorded every day over the past 10 days, and among people looking for hospital beds, oxygen and medicine, the government has opened a vaccination program for all adults over the age of 18 according to TheNextWeb.

So far, the vaccination program has allowed anyone over the age of 45, as well as healthcare workers and frontline workers to obtain approved shots to fight COVID-19. As the program opens up to more people, Facebook rolls out a new tool to find the closest vaccination center in the coming days.

The tool will be available in 17 languages and will help you locate the closest vaccination center in your area. In addition, it will show whether the center has entry options for people aged 46 and over as well as a link to register on the CoWin website and schedule a vaccination if required.

To gather all this data, Facebook is partnering with the central government’s Ministry of Health.

While you will be able to locate the nearest vaccination center through this tool, you will have to check the availability of vaccines and checkboxes through the CoWin portal.

Alternatively, you can use this special tool to find pollen openers for people between the ages of 18 and 45.
