“The goal was wonderful and important. You can see the reaction of his teammates (after he scored),” Arteta said of Al-Nani at the press conference after the match.
“It was a very impressive goal and I’m very happy for it,” he stressed. “He is a wonderful person.”
“He is a likable player in the locker room and he is respected because he is an amazing player and a good person to work with.”
And about the possibility of the participation of Alnani and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang against Villarreal next Thursday in the second leg of the European League semi-final, he said: “They have presented strong matches, and they are fully prepared at the moment, they deserve the opportunity.”
