Pyramids defeated Wadi Degla 3-1 in the 20th round of the Egyptian League.
“We controlled the pace of the match and created more than one chance during the first half,” Aruabarina said in comments after the match.
“There was fluidity and ease in moving the ball, but we lacked accuracy in the final touch in order to score,” he added.
He continued, “We were awarded a penalty kick, but we did not score it and it rebounded on us from the penalty spot as well, but we managed to score a draw at an appropriate time.”
He stressed, “The changes in the match were distinguished in its timing. The players contributed to the victory and I thank them for their excellent performance.”
And he continued, “In recent meetings, some issues had to be addressed, including the loss of many easy points.”
And he added, “The level of the league teams is close, and this makes the matches difficult.”
He concluded, “We should not think about the Tigris Valley match and focus on facing Ceramica Cleopatra in the next round.”
Pyramids are third in the league with 34 points.
