Juventus defeated Udinese with two goals to one in the 34th round of the Italian League, after scoring two goals in the last 10 minutes of the match.
Bonucci told Sky Italia after the match: “We got 3 points, but if we were happy with only 10 minutes then we didn’t learn anything.”
“It is difficult to keep pace throughout the match, but we have to give everything we have to qualify for the Champions League,” he added.
“The matches are determined by mistakes. We have awarded Udinese a goal, and it is all about the details, and we squandered many points because of the details,” he added.
He continued, “We did not give Udinese a chance, but we missed the passion, determination and enthusiasm with which we played during the last ten minutes.”
And about Juventus losing the league title for the first time in 9 seasons, he said: “The era is over. We have not helped ourselves this season because of wasting points.”
He continued, “From today a new era began, and we must be greedy in order to return after we dominated for 9 years, which is difficult to repeat because it was something epic.”
He praised Inter, the champions, “they have been the most prolific team during the current season.”
“I congratulate Inter. They won the title well, but we will get up and come back.”
Inter won the Italian League title for the first time in 11 years.
