The European Court of Justice said on Monday that the European Super League had accused UEFA and FIFA of violating European tournament regulations.

And revealed that the case was transferred from the Madrid court in Spain.

This comes in the context of UEFA’s dispute with the three clubs that have not yet announced their withdrawal from the Super League, namely Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus.

9 other teams declined to participate in the Super League, after the idea received a sharp attack from the fans, UEFA and FIFA.

Uefa president Alexander Schaeferin hinted to a dispute on the horizon between his foundation and the three clubs, telling Sky Italia, “They have isolated themselves by their approach, how do they belong to the Super League and want to participate in the Champions League?”

“The UEFA Disciplinary Committee is independent, so I don’t know what would happen if I started working on the case.”

Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus, along with 9 prominent European clubs, announced earlier the launch of the Super League, a tournament that will be limited to a certain number of teams.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez justified the launch of the tournament by trying to revive its economic situation.

But Milan, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, Tottenham, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United soon declined to participate in the tournament.
