Ecuadorian Antonio Valencia announced his retirement from football.

The former Manchester United player posted the news of his retirement through his official Twitter account.

The Mexican club, Queretario, was the last stop in Valencia with football after joining him on a free transfer in January 2021, before retiring after the end of the Mexican League, “Clausura”.

Valencia previously played for Recreativo and Villarreal in Spain, and Wigan in England, in addition to playing for Manchester United.

Valencia played 339 games for Manchester United, scoring 25 goals.

He also won two Premier League titles.

He represented Valencia in 98 matches, scored 11 goals, and participated in the 2006 and 2014 World Cups.
