FilGoal | News | Mahmoud Saber: We place a thousand considerations on facing Enyimba, and we cannot be complacent

Pyramids’ Mahmoud Saber stressed the need not to be complacent in front of Enyimba in the second leg of the Confederation quarter-finals.

Pyramids won 4-1 in the first leg at the air defense court and set one up in the semi-finals.

Saber said in the press conference: “We place a thousand considerations on the match, especially as it faces a great team with great experience in African championships and has been crowned twice in the Champions League.”

And he added, “We cannot deal with the game with complacency, especially after the big victory in the fourth round, as football has everything and football always bears surprises.”

“We have players at the highest level and people with great experience in continental tournaments and they can deal with matters,” he added.

“Playing on artificial turf makes things difficult, especially as the ball will be too fast, and the heat and humidity will make things more difficult,” he added.

“Pyramids can deal with the situation thanks to the expertise they possess and the desire to qualify for the semi-finals and win the continental championship title after reaching the final in the previous version.”

It suffices to win, draw or lose by two goals, to reach the golden square of the championship for the second consecutive season.
