Kylian Mbappe – Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City
Paris Saint-Germain will play Manchester City, next Tuesday, in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final at the English team’s stadium.
Last Friday, Paris Saint-Germain announced Mbappe’s injury after feeling pain in the calf muscle in his right leg.
“Will Mbappe be there (in England)? I am optimistic,” Pochettino told the French “Canal Plus” network today, Saturday.
“We think he will be there, we will see the developments (of injury) tomorrow,” he added.
“We will decide (his position) before the match,” he said.
Mbappe had suffered a “thigh blow” against Metz in the 34th round of the French League, before the first leg against Manchester City, but he participated in the meeting.
Paris Saint-Germain lost 2-0 to Manchester City at the Princes’ Park in the first leg.
Paris Saint-Germain needs to win by two goals in the rematch to qualify for the final match.
