Sobhi came out in the last minutes of his team’s match against Zamalek on Sunday, in an exciting match that ended in a 1-1 draw.
Al-Muniri said through the club’s media center: “Ramadan Sobhi suffered a severe bruise in the pupil of the eye during the Zamalek match, after colliding with Ashraf Bencharqi.”
He added, “The player underwent an initial examination this morning under the supervision of an ophthalmologist, and will undergo a thorough examination this evening to determine the strength of the bruise.”
He completed: “Ramadan received some of the necessary medicines to treat the strong bruise, and he will continue treatment in the coming hours, and he will get a rest of 72 hours.”
Pyramids will play their next match against Wadi Tigris on May 6th, before playing against Ceramica Cleopatra on May 9th.
Pyramids are third in the Egyptian League with 31 points from 19 matches, 10 points behind leaders Zamalek.
