Mahmoud Fathallah, the general coach of the Pyramids team, believes that his team is the Egyptian Premier League club that suffers from the pressure of meetings during the current season at the local and continental levels.

Fathallah said in statements toFilGoal.com: “Pyramids has played 29 different matches so far in all tournaments, to be the most Egyptian teams competing during the current season, outperforming all of its competitors, and we are suffering from great pressure in the schedule.”

“The team is special so far in the Egyptian League competition with 18 matches, and it is considered one of the clubs most to compete in the competition, although we also played in the African Confederation and reached the quarter-finals of the tournament, such as Al-Ahly in the African Champions League, who played fewer Pyramids in the league matches,” he added.

And he continued, “In the Confederation, Pyramids have played 10 games so far, more than Al-Ahly with two matches, despite the two teams reaching the quarter-finals in the African Club Championships.”

The general coach stressed, “Pyramids is the only team that has played 3 consecutive matches away from home locally and continually within just 7 days. It was in front of Ghazl El Mahalla at El Mahalla stadium on April 17th, before going to a Nkana match outside Egypt in Zambia on the 21st in the Confederation Cup. We will return by a private plane to Cairo on the 22nd before traveling. On the twenty-third, to Alexandria, to face Al-Ittihad Al-Iskandari in the league at Alexandria Stadium on the 24th of the same month.

Fathallah follow, “We thank God for the presence of a large number of stars in the team who bear responsibility and compensate for absences due to the great pressure of the matches, as Pyramids face many absences due to injuries suffered by players after each match, which reached its climax in the Talaa Al-Jaish match with the absence of more than 13 Players due to various injuries. ”

“I thank the management for all the support and capabilities it provides, and the players for all the pressures they bear in order to realize everyone’s dream of winning one of the tournaments in which Pyramids are participating this season,” he added.

Pyramids are preparing to face Zamalek tomorrow evening, Sunday, in the 19th round of the Egyptian League.
