Salah Mohsen said on Al-Ahly channel: “The last period we were going through great pressure on the players, but everyone did not spare the effort during the Sundowns match, and we were able to win.”
“The rematch in South Africa will be very difficult but we can qualify from there,” he added.
He continued, “Football means diligence, and I strive hard in the last period, and praise be to God, who writes me success. It is not important to score goals, but the most important thing is for the team to achieve victory and the desired goal.”
“Our goal now is for the players to get a good hospitalization, to get rid of fatigue, before traveling to South Africa,” he added.
He concluded his remarks, “Musimani asked me to focus and help the team advance to the attack with the support of Ayman Ashraf in defense.”
Al-Ahly will play the Sundowns next Saturday in the rematch in South Africa.
