Geneva – (AAA):
The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, revealed that the number of new cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19) worldwide during the past two weeks exceeds what was reported during the first six months of the epidemic.
Tedros said – in a statement reported by “CNN” America today, Monday – India and Brazil accounted for more than half of the cases last week, but there are many other countries around the world that are facing a very fragile situation.
Tedros called on everyone to continue to follow the advice of the World Health Organization and the national advice on public health safety measures, saying, “What happens in India and Brazil can happen elsewhere unless we all take the public health precautions that the World Health Organization has called for since the beginning of the epidemic. Vaccines are part. Of the answer, but it is not the only solution. “
