“Health” warns of the last ten days of Ramadan: The Indian Corona strain has spread to 17 countries

Mohamed Abdel Fattah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Preventive Affairs, said that Egypt is witnessing an increase in the number of cases of Coronavirus, which is a dangerous indicator although it is not a cause for concern at the present time.

Abdel Fattah added, in a telephone interview with the “On My Responsibility” program on the “Echo of the Country” channel, that social distancing has disappeared, and there is no commitment to the precautionary measures.

He continued: “The increase was 10% in the seventeenth week, and all hospitals are equipped to receive the numbers of Corona cases.”

He explained that advice is obligatory, warning citizens of the coming days in the last ten days of Ramadan and the momentum, and buying Eid supplies, stressing that the spacing at this time is life.

On the symptoms in the third wave and their difference from the first and second; He emphasized that the respiratory symptoms are the clearest, then the digestive system, with some cases suffering from a rash, which is similar to the symptoms of the first and second waves, but the spread is somewhat faster in the third wave.

He emphasized that the governorates with the highest incidence are Cairo, Menoufia, Aswan, Sohag, Qena and the Red Sea, and the increases are being dealt with in these governorates.

Regarding the Indian dynasty, he pointed out that it spread to 17 countries, but until now we have not monitored its entry into Egypt, and there are previous decisions to prevent anyone from entering Egypt without the presence of a “BCR” analysis.

He explained that more than 2 million citizens registered to receive the Corona vaccination, and with the beginning of this week, the pace was accelerated, to reach 200,000 vaccinations per day, indicating that the vaccination will arrive in large quantities in the coming period.
