Omar Al-Banna, Mohamed Awad, Zamalek’s goalkeeper, confirmed that the player continues with the white club, pointing out that the season still has several months ahead of him to talk about the possibility of his departure.
“There is still a lot of time left for the end of the season and the player continues with the team,” Al-Banna said in comments during statements to Ontime Sports.
He added, “Mohamed Awad is ready for the next match, and in a large percentage, he will be the main goalkeeper against Pyramids.”
He continued: “The financial crisis is an internal affair between the players and the administration, and Zamalek is keen to pay all dues to all players.”
He concluded his statements: “The recent crisis was a misunderstanding, and Awad was not informed of the training time with the excluded, and the coach understood the matter after that and the guard returned after that after the punishment was imposed on him and he trained with the youth team.”
Zamalek faces the Pyramids team in the nineteenth round of the Egyptian We League, Sunday evening, at Cairo International Stadium.
