The Inter Milan team approached a new step from the Italian football league title by defeating its host Crotone with two unanswered goals today, Saturday, in the 34th round.
Verona tied at home to Spezia 1/1 in the same stage.
And at the Ezio Skeda stadium, the first half of the match between Crotone and his guest Inter Milan ended with a goalless draw.
Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen led Inter in the 69th minute, then Moroccan international Ashraf Hakimi confirmed the guest team’s victory by scoring the second goal in the last seconds.
The victory raised Inter Milan’s score at the top to 82 points from 34 games, 14 points behind its closest follower, Atalanta, who played 33 games, and Crotone’s balance stopped at 18 points in last place.
Inter Milan scored its twenty-fifth victory, against seven draws and two defeats, to move a new step closer to its first Italian league title since the 2009/2010 season.
