Lille and Paris Saint-Germain continued to chase the top of the French Football League with the first victory over Nice 2/0 and the second over Lens 2/1 today, Saturday, in the 35th stage of the competition.
Defending champions Saint-Germain raised its tally to 75 points, one point behind Lille, who is steadily advancing on the path to winning the title.
Lille defeated Nice with two straight goals, scored by Burak Yilmaz and Muhammad Zaki Silk in the 13th and 56th minutes.
The 48th minute of the match saw Jordan Lotumba dismissed from Nice for receiving the second yellow card in the match.
In the other match, Saint-Germain ended the first half in their favor with a goal by Brazilian Neymar da Silva in the 33rd minute.
In the second half, his colleague Marquinus added the second goal for the team in the 59th minute, while Ignatius Janago scored the only goal for Tennis in the 61st minute.
